Previously use / to separate container name and program name. However, in rsyslogd: Precisely, the programname is terminated by either (whichever occurs first): end of tag nonprintable character ‘:’ ‘[‘ ‘/’ The above definition has been taken from the FreeBSD syslogd sources.
