Why I did it
Sujin noticed that Arista eeprom platform API cannot update the redis database. Although Arista and Guohan believe that database update logic should be part of the daemon, it is easy enough to implement the fix for Arista for now.
How I did it
Made Arista eeprom platform API inherit from TlvInfoDecoder, then write Arista's own visit_eeprom method.

Why I did it
Vaibhav Dahiya notified me that invalid fan speed policy was expecting an error raised in sonic-mgmt testing, but it was not raised.
This change will fix test_platform_info.py::test_thermal_control_load_invalid_value_json
How I did it
Add in the suggested code chunk to Arista platform submodule to raise ValueError when an invalid fan speed is set in thermal policy.
How to verify it
Vaibhav Dahiya has verified it through sonic-mgmt testing.

- Why I did it
Change thermal recover threshold from temp_trip_norm to temp_trip_high, so that thermal algorithm would set fan speed to minimum allowed earlier and save power.
- How I did it
Change thermal recover threshold from temp_trip_norm to temp_trip_high
- How to verify it
Manual test
A new config option `sai_verify_incoming_chksum` was added to control the value of IPV4_INCR_CHECKSUM_ORIGINAL_VALUE_VERIFY in the EGR_FLEX_CONFIG control register (this prevents checksums of 0xffff from being propagated to other devices)

How I did it
Added if multi npu check before invoking the load global config.
How to verify it
Restart caclmgrd after this change and check if no error log is thrown.

Fix for sonic-cfggen exception during platform string read during fresh install and start of sonic in multi asic, /var/run/redisX/ is created after database docker is started.
As a part of warmboot, redis database is dumped:
c97fe546e5/scripts/fast-reboot (L269)
However, this dump file is deleted, after it is loaded back into db post reboot.
The DB dump can be useful for debugging purpose, hence taking a backup of it can be useful.
Instead of deleting the dump, rename and keep the dump.
What I did:
add platform components
How I did it:
In platform_components.json add chassis and empty component
How to verify it:
Run show platform firmware updates
Why I did it
To monitor the SSD health condition in DellEMC S6100 platform post upgrade.
A daemon is introduced to monitor the SSD every one hour.
To check for SSD status at boot time and at the time of cold-reboot.
All these changes are supported only for newer SSD firmware.
Porting changes from 201911 branch
Added a platform_reboot_pre_check script to prevent cold-reboot based on SSD status.
Depends on Azure/sonic-utilities#1788
DO NOT MERGE UNTIL ABOVE PR IS MERGED
How I did it
On branch s6100_ssd_202012

This PR aims to fix the healthd crash issue by adding system health monitoring configuration file for platform Celestica E1031 by adding a new configuration file under the path device/celestica/x86_64-cel_e1031-r0/.
How to verify it
I manually restart the system-health.service and confirmed that healthd is running.
